What can a pillow do that four walls cannot? Chilean artist Constanza Carvajal is interested in how buildings can not only address the physical but also the emotional needs of the people who inhabit them. The exhibition presents four works in the Bernau Gallery that play with the perceived contrast between architecture and soft surfaces. Beyond the aspects of form and functionality she explores from a transcultural and feminist perspective how architecture, art, and craftsmanship intersect.
